Suozzi To Host Tele-Town Hall With Residents From District

GLEN COVE, NY — Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-NY 3) will hold a district-wide tele-town hall on Thursday night.

Suozzi will discuss his key priorities in Congress and engage with constituents about their pressing concerns.

This comes on the heels of an in-person “Budget Briefing” Suozzi held with Congresswoman Laura Gillen and several experts last weekend.

Suozzii has held dozens of in-person town halls since he first came to Congress in 2017.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he shifted to a telephone town hall, and many residents asked that the format continue because it allowed more people to participate from the comfort of their homes.

On Wednesday evening, residents of the 3rd Congressional District will receive a call inviting them to participate in the tele-town hall. On Thursday evening, just before the tele-town hall begins, they will receive another call that allows them to join the live meeting directly. The tele-town hall will also be live-streamed on the Congressman’s Facebook page.
