Suozzi Returns To Powerful Ways And Means Committee

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Tom Suozzi (NY-3rd District) has been reappointed to the House Ways and Means Committee.

Suozzi previously held a seat on the committee during the 116th and 117th Congress.

"This is not just an opportunity to serve my district but a chance to champion the priorities that matter most to hard-working families, particularly the urgent need to restore the SALT deduction," said Suozzi, who is a trained CPA and attorney.

The House Ways and Means Committee is the chief tax-writing panel on Capitol Hill.

Suozzi will serve as the only New York Democrat on the panel.
