Tocolo Cantina Looks To Open Glen Cove Location In Village Square Spot
The Garden City Mexican restaurant applied to open a 4,500-square foot eatery with outdoor seating in the mixed-use Village Square.
GLEN COVE, NY — Tocolo Cantina, a Garden City Mexican restaurant, is looking to open a second location in Glen Cove's Village Square mixed-use development.
The business said on social media that it offers "classic Mexican dishes prepared with the sophistication of a fine dining restaurant."
Tocolo Cantina Glen Cove would have 4,500 square feet and include outdoor seating, if the application with Glen Cove City Council is approved. The space at 100 Village Square, Suite 120 Unit B, is currently unoccupied, according to Glen Cove City's planning board.

The Aug. 1, 2022 application said "Tocolo Cantina will bring a modern, lively, and tasteful Mexican atmosphere to the Village Square development."
A public hearing was held on Dec. 6, 2022 for residents to comment on the application. Patch reached out to the Glen Cove City Planning Board and will update the story when information about the application's status becomes available.
