Cops: Westbury Man Charged in Glen Head After Marijuana Found in Vehicle
Incident occurred Friday, Glen Cove Police say.
Glen Cove Police recovered marijuana, concentrated cannabis and thousands of dollars in cash in Glen Head Friday evening from the vehicle of a Westbury man under police observation, authorities said Monday.
Police say they recovered more than four pounds of marijuana, 18 grams of concentrated cannabis and $7,500 in cash from the vehicle driven by Randell R. Lyons, 23.
Dets. Brian Glennon and Officer Eddy Linares charged Lyons at 7:12 p.m. with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Nassau County Police assisted the Glen Cove officers at the scene, according to officials.
Lyons was arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
