Body Pulled From Brooklyn Waters: NYPD
BREAKING: The body of a 23-year-old man was pulled from the waters Saturday afternoon.
RED HOOK, NY — A man's body was pulled from the Red Hook Channel in Brooklyn Saturday afternoon, the NYPD said.
Detectives responded to a 911 call of an unconscious male floating in the channel at around 1:45 p.m. Police found the 23-year-old man's body floating in the water and the harbor unit moved the body to Pier 12. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
