Coffey Park Playground in Red Hook to Close in November for Hurricane Sandy Repairs
The work should take four weeks, but could be delayed by bad weather, the city says.

RED HOOK, BROOKLYN — The Coffey Park Playground in Red Hook will be closed for the month of November while the Parks Department repairs damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, the city announced.
The repair work will replace the playground's safety surface, the city says.
The work is expected to take four weeks, but could last longer if weather delays the workers, according to the Parks Department.

According to the city, the two nearest playgrounds are the DiMattina Playground at Hicks Street and Ralepeye Street, and the Bush Clinton Playground at Lorraine Street and Henry Street.
