Red Hook Fire Breaks Out At NYCHA Building
The Wednesday morning blaze happened in a Red Hook East building.

RED HOOK, BROOKLYN — Firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire in a Red Hook NYCHA building Wednesday morning.
The blaze started around 8:15 a.m. at 748 Henry St., on the fifth floor of a six-story building that is part of the Red Hook East public housing complex, an FDNY spokeswoman told Patch.
Twelve units and 60 firefighters responded to the scene, FDNY said. The fire was under control by 8:50 a.m. No one was injured.
