3 Hospitalized After Fire Starts At Great Neck Apartment: ICYMI
Several people were hospitalized after a fire broke out in a Great Neck apartment building, according to authorities.

GREAT NECK, NY — Three people were hospitalized after a fire broke out in a three-story apartment building in Great Neck on Thursday, authorities sid.
Around 9:47 p.m., crews from a number of fire departments — including Manhasset-Lakeville, Great Neck Alert, and Albertson — responded to a report of a building fire at 15 Clent Rd.

Upon arrival, units were able to evacuate residents safely and extinguish the fire.
Nine people, including a firefighter, were treated at the scene, Nassau County Chief Fire Marshal Michael Uttaro told Newsday. Three people were hospitalized.

The Red Cross also responded to assist displaced residents.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature, according to Nassau County police. An investigation is ongoing.
