4 Men Stole $82K In 7 Home Burglaries In North Nassau: Police

The four were arrested in Lake Success after breaking into a home through a window, part of a weeks-long Nassau burglary spree, police said.

LAKE SUCCESS, NY — Four men were responsible for seven home robberies in Northern Nassau County that spanned almost two months and netted them $82,000 in stolen cash, Nassau police said.

The foursome was arrested on Jan. 18 after police said they broke into a home on Pine Hill Road in Lake Success, triggering a security alarm, and they fled in an SUV. Lake Success police officers stopped the SUV, where they had stashed a stolen gun from then home.

The four men, David Rodriguez Paez, 25, Kevin Santiago Siabato Canon, 19, Andres Felipe Cancon Ibanez, 23, all of Colombia, and Andres Felipe Rayo Lugo, 19, of Queens, were charged with attempted second-degree burglary.

The four men are also responsible for six other burglaries that occurred between Nov. 26, 2022 and Jan. 9, 2023 in Herricks, Jericho, Plainview, Mineola and Manhasset, police said. They collected approximately $82,000 from the seven robberies.
