Bosworth Set to Give State of Town Address
Address to take place Jan. 31 in Port Washington.

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth is expected to address topics such as government transparency, customer service, environmental initiatives and town finances at her first State of the Town address later this month in Port Washington.
According to the town, Bosworth will speak about her goals for her first term and discuss the initial steps already taken to accomplish them.
The public event will take place Jan. 31 at 1:15 p.m. at the Clubhouse at Harbor Links, located at One Fairway Dr.
"The State of the Town presents the perfect opportunity to reflect on all the  successes the Town has had in the past year, and to outline how we plan to build on that strong foundation," said Supervisor Bosworth in a press release.
The State of the Town address is part of a luncheon program hosted by the League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset, called "Lunch with the League." There is a $35 charge for the luncheon. Check-in and light refreshments begin at 11:15 a.m., with lunch starting at noon. Call (516) 767-1897 or (516) 627-0831 to attend.
