GREAT NECK ESTATES, NY — A Babylon man has been arrested after police say he tried to break in to Great Neck Estates homes. Richard Caruso, 53, of Bailey Avenue was arrested around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nassau County police said.

Neighbors became suspicious and called 911 after seeing him knock on doors on Hickory Drive. Officers watched Caruso walk around the back of a home and try to enter through an open sliding door, police said. He was immediately arrested without further incident.
