Cops Investigate Crash Involving Kensington Police Cruiser

GREAT NECK, NY — Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a police cruiser in Kensington.

The incident happened Wednesday night near the intersection of Arleigh and Gilchrest roads, according to the Great Neck Vigilant Fire Department.

Neither the driver nor the Kensington police officer involved in the crash would comment. But when Patch arrived on the scene, a Dodge Challenger was parked on a resident's lawn and the young male driver was being evaluated by first responders. The Kensington police cruiser was visibly damaged.
