Following Burglaries, Kings Pointers Warned To Activate Alarms
At least three homes have been burglarized this summer.
Every home is its owner's castle, but in Kings Point, where many homes actually resemble castles, the gates aren't exactly under full guard.
are advising all Village residents to activate their alarms, following several robberies this summer of homes with unused alarms.
At the home most recently robbed, on Aug. 4th, there was no sign of a break in, leaving cops to believe the owners had not locked the door either.

A few days prior, on Aug. 1, another Village home was burglarized while its owners were out, and had left their home alarm unarmed.
On July 25th, a suspect actually walked right in through a front door at 8:30 in the evening. That suspect was caught, but the others—or other— are still at large.

The police dept. did not say what items were taken. Village officials issued a "reverse 9-1-1," or robo call to residents asking them to lock their doors and use their alarm systems.
