Voters Approve Great Neck Budget, Elect Trustees
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Great Neck residents approved a 2018-19 school budget on Tuesday.
The $229,845,028 budget passed with 1,856 yes votes and 333 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.93 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 2.52 percent tax levy increase.
Residents also re-elected Donald Ashkenase and Barbara Berkowitz, who both ran unopposed, to the Great Neck Board of Education.
