Great Neck's Nicholas Shen Wins Nassau Diving Championship

This is the second year in a row Shen has been crowned the county's top diver.

Great Neck South sophomore Nicholas Shen on Wednesday won the Nassau County diving championship at the Nassau Aquatic Center at Eisenhower Park.

Topping all divers for the second consecutive year, Shen finished with a score of 548.95 on 11 dives.

Shen has qualified to compete in the state championships on March 1 at the Nassau Aquatic Center. Last year, he finished 14th at the states.
