A personal message from Lakeville Civic Association President Dr. Gordon Charlop:
On December 9 th , all Great Neck residents will exercise their right to vote to determine who will serve as one of the three Great Neck Park District Commissioners for a three-year term.
The contrast between the two candidates is stark. The incumbent has failed to live up to the trust placed in him by his constituents. His tenure has been marked by multiple lawsuits, questionable business deals, a lack of transparency, and a dismissive attitude toward residents. After years of service, he has become out of touch with residents’ concerns.
His opponent, Justin Maze, is another matter entirely. Justin has served this town in multiple capacities, demonstrating leadership and empathy in each role and earning the trust of residents throughout our community.
It is for these reasons that I ask area residents to embrace the future and bring in new ideas and energy. I endorse a vote for Justin Maze for Great Neck Park Commissioner.
