Police Say Missing Man, 89, Has Been Found: UPDATE

Authorities say Radames Santoni, who was last seen driving a white 2007 Mercury Marquis on Searingtown Road, has been found.

NORTH HILLS, NY — Nassau County officials say Radames Santoni has been located and is safe.


(Original post) NORTH HILLS, NY — The Nassau County Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing elderly man.

Radames Santoni, 89, was reported missing around 9:45 p.m. on Monday, about four hours after he disappeared, police said. He was last seen driving a white 2007 Mercury Marquis on North Hill's Searingtown Road. The New York license plate is BCM6286.

Investigators describe Santoni as a 5-foot-8, 170-pound white male with brown eyes. He is mostly bald, with the exception of some gray hair, and was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about Santoni's whereabouts is asked to call police at 911 or the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347. All calls will remain anonymous.
