NY AG Letitia James To Attend Shabbat At Nassau Temple Where MLK Spoke

On Friday, a special Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. service at Temple Beth-El will feature a keynote speech from New York's attorney general.

GREAT NECK, NY — New York Attorney General Letitia James will deliver a keynote speech Friday at a Great Neck temple service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The civil rights leader also gave a speech at Temple Beth-El, 56 years ago.

The temple will host a special 7 p.m. Shabbat to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 13.

Dr. King's historic civil rights speech happened at the temple in March 1967.
