GREAT NECK, NY — New York Attorney General Letitia James spoke at Great Neck's Temple Beth-El on Friday, delivering a keynote speech at a special Martin Luther King, Jr. commemoration shabbat service.
James said being invited into a place of worship was the highest honor she could have received.
"We all know someone who gave up something so we could be here this evening. For some of us we have loved ones who [...] survived the Holocaust. Our ancestors fought for our right to be here," she said.
