Woman Drove Drunk With Teenage Son In Car In Great Neck: Police

BREAKING: The woman was arrested on Saturday night.

A Brooklyn woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated with her 15-year-old son in the car in Great Neck on Saturday night, police say.

According to authorities, police pulled over a Toyota Corolla driven by Rosa Rodriguez, 30, for impending traffic behind her at a red light in the westbound lanes of Northern Boulevard at 10:33 p.m.

During the traffic stop, the officer observed that Rodriguez was intoxicated while her 15-year-old son was in the back seat, police say.

No injuries were reported.

She was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of DWI, aggravated DWI, endangering the welfare of a child and minimum speed violation while impeding traffic.

She was arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
