Call for Artists-16th Annual HS Advanced Placement Art Student Exhibit
The Art League of Long Islands's 16th Annual Exhibit Features Artwork by High School AP Art Students from Suffolk and Nassau Counties

For the 16th year in a row the Art League of Long Island is pleased to offer the opportunity for High School Advanced Placement art students throughout Suffolk and Nassau counties to exhibit their work in a professional gallery setting in an exhibition entitled, “GO APE”. The exhibit will be on view in the Art League’s Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery February 4 through February 18.
Each high school may submit up to four works to be apportioned as the teachers see fit among Drawing Portfolio, 2D Design Portfolio and 3D Design Portfolio. A wide cross section of media will be represented: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Sculpture, Photography, and Graphic Design. Student work slated for exhibition is selected by the students’ art teachers/advisors, giving the public the opportunity to view artwork created by the next generation of artists. Participating Public and Private High Schools must have all applications submitted by January 20, 2023.
Established in 1955, the Art League of Long Island is a not-for-profit visual arts center whose mission is to provide a forum and showcase for artists of all ages and ability levels, whether through art education in the studios or promoting their work through exhibitions and art fairs.
