Charity Hockey Game To Fight Cancer Coming To Dix Hills

The Suffolk County Sheriff's Office Hockey Team and the New York Cancer Foundation Hockey are set to face off against cancer on Saturday.

DIX HILLS, NY — The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Hockey Team is set to play the New York Cancer Foundation in a charity hockey game on Saturday.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the puck drops at 7 p.m. at Dix Hills Ice Rink, 575 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills. Both teams will be facing off to fight cancer.

The charity game is the third annual "Hockey For Hope." The event will feature raffles, vendors, and activities for all ages. All proceeds will benefit the NY Cancer Foundation and their mission of relieving financial stresses experienced by Long Islanders currently battling cancer.
