Drunken Driver Crashes Stolen Vehicle With 3 Teens In Car: Police
BREAKING: The Bay Shore man led police on a chase through Huntington Station and Melville on Saturday morning, police say.

A Bay Shore man is accused of fleeing police in a stolen vehicle and crashing it in Melville while he was intoxicated and had three teenagers in the car on Saturday morning.
According to authorities, officers attempted to pull over a 2001 Ford driven by Justice Bennett, 19, who was driving recklessly southbound on New York Avenue, near east 15th Street in Huntington Station at 3:12 a.m. Police say the vehicle was reported stolen in Bay Shore around 2:30 a.m.
Bennett fled in the vehicle as officers attempted to pull him over, police say. He then lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and crash, on Old Country Road, west of Ponderosa Drive in Melville, at 3:16 a.m.

Bennett suffered serious injuries and was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
Three passengers in the vehicle, a 13-year-old and two 14-year-olds, were all transported by the Melville Fire Department to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Bennett was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, three counts of aggravated DWI (Leandra's Law), three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful fleeing of police. He will be arraigned at a later date.
