Dragonfly Cares

We’re Dragonfly Cares, a group of providers offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy across Long Island. Our goal is to support children as well as the caregivers around them, while emphasizing community engagement and transparency. Our goal from the start has been to create a supportive network and uplifting environment for the families and therapists we work with. No more one-size fits all models, we provide more and always will. Each group is led by a BCBA and includes 1:1 support from a trained behavior technician. Groups are thoughtfully formed based on each child’s individual needs and skill sets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to build social skills, communication, and more—all in a fun and supportive environment! DIX HILLS, NY — A woman was arrested after Suffolk police said she fatally stabbed her mother in Dix Hills on Wednesday. Officers responded to 2 Carman Court at 9:08 p.m. after a 911 caller said someone was stabbed, police said. Officers found a resident of the home, Josephine Bekatoros, 84, stabbed to death, police said. Homicide Squad detectives found her daughter, Diana Bekatoros, 51, at her Long Island City home and charged her with second-degree murder, police said. Bekatoros is set to be arraigned on Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip.
