Suffolk Sheriff's Office To Take On NY Cancer Foundation In Hockey

The charity hockey match is scheduled for Saturday. Both teams will be raising funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.

DIX HILLS, NY — The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Boldest Hockey and New York Cancer Foundation are set to hit the ice for a good cause on Saturday.

The teams are scheduled to play a charity hockey game at Dix Hills Ice Rink, at 575 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills, at 7 p.m. Saturday. Both teams will be raising funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.

Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased on the NY Cancer Foundation website. Tickets will be $20 at the door.

This ultimate charity showdown is a rematch of the first “Hockey For Hope” held last August. Boldest Hockey won that first matchup and now the New York Cancer Foundation is looking to even the score.
