Thieves Hide Stolen Items In Pants In Melville: Police
Do you recognize these women? Police are looking for them.
Two women stole merchandise from a Melville store by hiding the items in their pants on Monday, Nov. 20, police say.
According to authorities, the woman stole jeans from Mystique Boutique, located at 925 Walt Whitman Road, at 6:43 p.m. The women also damaged two shirts in an attempt to remove the security sensors, police say.
They fled the scene in a rental vehicle, a 2017 Audi QX80 with Massachusetts plates 8KK241.

The women are wanted for petty larceny.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
