The Water District Administration will rename its building to honor a local advocate.

The name of the Dix Hills Water District Administration Building will be changed to honor community advocate Sheila Saks.

Saks, who died in July, was a member of the Town of Huntington Citizen Committee and worked on the construction of the water district's building in 1991.
