1 Hospitalized In East Harlem Apartment Fire Tuesday: FDNY
One individual was rushed to the hospital after an apartment fire broke out in Harlem Tuesday morning, authorities said.

EAST HARLEM, NY - One individual was hospitalized after an apartment fire broke out in East Harlem Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The blaze on the fifth floor at 1270 Fifth Ave. near 108th Street was first reported about 1:12 a.m., fire officials told Patch.
20 units, including 78 fire and medical personnel, responded to the fire, officials said. The blaze was deemed under control about 1:55 a.m.

One individual was rushed to Harlem Hospital in serious condition, fire officials said.
The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.
