15-Year-Old Arrested For Killing 14-Year-Old In Harlem Subway: Cops
A 15-year-old stands accused of murdering Ethan Reyes, 14, in Harlem subway station Saturday afternoon, police said.

HARLEM, NEW YORK — The teenaged boy accused of fatally stabbing 14-year-old Ethan Reyes in a Harlem subway station has been arrested, according to police.
The 15-year-old faces a murder charge for the tragic death on the northbound 1 train platform at the 137th Street-City College train station Saturday afternoon about 3 p.m., police said.
"Our preliminary invest indicates that a fight or dispute began on the street and continued into the train station," NYPD Chief Jason Wilcox said at a press conference.

A knife and a broomstick were found in the wake of the argument, said Wilcox.
Subway security camera footage helped cops track down a suspect, according to Wilcox.

Medics rushed the Reyes, of Yonkers, to Mount Sinai St. Luke's, but the wound proved fatal, said police.
The slaying of a young boy in a public space on a Saturday afternoon spurred an uproar and prompted Mayor Eric Adams to take a trip to Harlem and speak with New Yorkers.
"The work of public safety begins with conversations like this," the mayor tweeted Sunday. "With letting New Yorkers know their leaders are working around the clock to protect them."
