2-Alarm Fire Blazes In East Harlem Apartment, FDNY Says
More than 100 firefighters were assigned to fight the fire, including a special hazmat crew due to the presence of a lithium-ion battery.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A two-alarm fire broke out early Tuesday morning in an East Harlem apartment building, New York City Fire Department officials said.
According to the FDNY, the fire started at 5:52 a.m. Tuesday at 166 East 118th Street, which is between Lexington Avenue and Third Avenue.
The fire started on the second floor, and 106 firefighters and emergency personnel responded to the blaze, officials said.

The FDNY said a Hazmat crew was assigned because the fire was in the presence of a lithium-ion battery.
FDNY said no one was injured in the fire, which was put out by 7:02 a.m.

Authorities said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
