4 Men Killed In Harlem In Just 4 Days, Police Say

Days after two men were shot and killed in Harlem this weekend, two more violent deaths took place in the community Tuesday, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A bloody week in Harlem has claimed a total of four lives after one man was shot in the head Tuesday afternoon and another fatally stabbed, police said.

Hector Delgado, 26, was shot near East 123rd Street and Lexington Avenue about 4:15 p.m., police said. Medics rushed the Harlem man to Harlem Hospital where he later died, police said.

About an hour later at 5:20 p.m., Pressie Taylor, 61, was fatally stabbed in the chest in Brigadier General Charles Young Park at West 145th Street and Lenox Avenue, police said.

Taylor was also pronounced dead at the hospital and police arrested Robert Harris, 63, on charges of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

The two men lost their lives days after two other men were killed near East 132nd Street and West 125th Street over the weekend, police said.

Messiah Nantwi, 21, has since been arrested and charged with two counts of murder, police said.
