3 Men Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of Harlem Man Outside NYC Deli
All three men are in custody at Rikers Island, according to court records.
HARLEM, NY — Three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old man in Harlem back in May, police announced.
Jervey Barfield was fatally stabbed on May 3 after he got into an argument with a group of men outside a deli on Frederick Douglass Blvd. near W. 141st St., police said.
Naquan Anderson, 37, Trevor Carpenter, 42, and Alvin Nelson, 44 were all arrested. Anderson and Nelson were both charged with murder, while Carpenter has been charged with manslaughter.

Nelson was arrested on May 16, Carpenter was arrested one week later and Anderson was taken into custody on June 9, police said.
Barfield was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
