Photos Released In Harlem Shooting That Wounded 8-Year Old Girl

The young girl was with her father on Halloween night outside the Fine Fare Supermarket on Malcolm X Boulevard when gunfire erupted.

NEW YORK, NY — Police on Sunday released surveillance images showing two men allegedly involved in the triple shooting that wounded an 8-year-old girl and her father outside the Fine Fare Supermarket in Harlem on Halloween night.

The girl, shot outside the supermarket at 130 Malcolm X Boulevard just after 7 p.m., was in stable condition at Mount Sinai Hospital Sunday morning and is expected to survive. She was with her father, a 39-year-old who was also shot, according to an ABC7 report.

Police said the suspected shooter is a man in his 20s who was wearing a green and black jacket. The other man is also in his 20s, police said, and was wearing a dark baseball cap and all dark clothing Saturday night.

Arrests had not been made as of Sunday afternoon.

Police said the victims, which included a 36-year-old woman, were unintended targets of the attack.

The 8-year-old was shot in her right knee. Her father and the woman were struck in the right arm.

All victims are expected to survive.
