Armed Man Robs Harlem Deli: Police

A man robbed a deli on Broadway in the middle of the afternoon late last month, police said.

HARLEM, NY — An armed man robbed a Harlem deli at gunpoint on the middle of a late February afternoon, police said.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 29, a man walked into a store on Broadway near West 136th street and pulled out a gun, officials said.

The armed man demanded money from the 37-year-old worker, according to police.

Around $800 was stolen from the store, authorities said.

The man fled on West 136th Street towards Amsterdam Avenue and was last seen wearing a black mask and a black Guess jacket.

Police released an image of a person believed to be connected to the incident.
