Attacker Beats And Robs 64-Year-Old Woman In East Harlem: NYPD
NYPD released a photo Thursday of a man wanted for choking and punching a woman in East Harlem earlier this month.

EAST HARLEM, NY — An attacker snuck up on a woman in East Harlem, before beating and robbing her earlier in September, police said Thursday.
A 64-year-old woman was walking in front of 225 E. 118th St., when a man came up from behind her, choked her, threw her to the ground, and punched her several times in the face, police said.
The attacker also grabbed her purse, police added.

The attack and robbery happened around 9:10 p.m. on Sept. 4, NYPD said.
The woman was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital in stable condition, and the attacker ran away westbound on East 118th Street, police said.

NYPD released a photo Thursday for the first time of a man wanted in connection to the attack and robbery.
