Body Found In East River Is Missing Harlem Boy: ABC, PIX11
Garrett Warren's family confirmed to multiple outlets that the body found in the East River Thursday is the missing 13-year-old from Harlem.

HARLEM, NY — The body of a missing Harlem boy was pulled out of the East River on Thursday morning, Garrett Warren's family confirmed to ABC7 and PIX11.
The body was found in the water near the Madison Avenue Bridge at East 138th Street about 10:15 a.m., police confirmed.
The family confirmed to ABC that the body was 13-year-old Warren about 4 p.m.

Police have still not confirmed the identity of the body.
Warren, who lived on West 143rd Street, has been missing since Friday afternoon along with his friend 11-year-old Alfa Barrie, police said.

The search continues for Barrie, a Bronx resident who goes to school in Harlem.
The NYPD's scuba team has been sent into the East River water to continue searching the area, according to multiple reports.
It is not yet known how Warren died, but at this time foul play is not suspected, CBS reported.
The NYPD spokesperson did not have more details as of 4 p.m.
