Bomb Threat At East Harlem Museum Prompts Evacuation: NYPD

The Museum of the City of New York was evacuated Wednesday morning after a reported bomb threat, authorities said.

EAST HARLEM, NY - The Museum of the City of New York was evacuated Wednesday morning after a reported bomb threat, authorities said.

Police responded to the museum at 1220 Fifth Ave. for the reported bomb threat about 11:09 a.m., police said. The threat was later determined to be unfounded.

A request for comment from a museum spokesperson was not immediately returned.
