Brawl Outside East Harlem Deli Leaves Man Stabbed: Video

Video shows a brawl between two men spilling out into an East Harlem street, leaving one of the men with a stab wound, police say.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A brawl between two men outside an East Harlem deli ended with one stabbing the other, according to police, who released video of the fight as they search for a suspect.

The Oct. 9 fight began around 8 a.m. outside Health Food Gourmet Deli on the corner of First Avenue and East 120th Street, police say.

Video shows one man, identified by police as the 34-year-old victim, walking away from the deli, only to charge back moments later and attack the unidentified suspect, who is standing on the corner.

As the two men struggled against each other, the suspect took out a knife and stabbed the man in the right leg, police said.

Video shows the fight dragging on in the street, as the men overturn a newspaper stand and spill a trash can into First Avenue. The latter part of the video shows the alleged suspect standing in the street, his face bloodied.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition for his stab wound, police said.
