Brutal Attack Of Homeless Man In Harlem Ruled Homicide: Police
Edgardo Rodriguez was attacked by a group in May 2022, and died three months later, NYPD said. His death was ruled a homicide on Tuesday.

HARLEM, NY — The death of a homeless who was brutally beaten in Harlem last year has been ruled a homicide ten months later, police announced Tuesday.
Cops found an injured-but-awake Edgardo Rodriguez, 66, in the back of the Taft Houses on East 115th Street and Park Avenue on May 24 about 12:15 a.m., police said.
A group of men had began to beat the homeless man, who suffered injuries to his face and body, for no apparent reason, police said.

Rodriguez died at Mt. Sinai Hospital on Aug. 18, three months after the attack, police said.
There are no photos or videos of the group wanted in connection to the attack, and police did not provide any descriptions.
