Harlem Apartment Building Basement Fire Cause Under FDNY Probe
The blaze at a prewar building on West 131st Street was reported about 9:30 a.m., fire officials said.

HARLEM, NY - A basement fire broke out at a Harlem residential building Friday morning, authorities said.
The blaze at 51 West 131st St. between Lenox and Fifth avenues was reported about 9:30 a.m., fire officials said.
12 units and 60 fire and medical personnel responded to the fire at the five-story, 38-unit prewar building, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported, fire officials said. The fire was deemed under control about 20 minutes later.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
