HARLEM, NY — A man accused of shooting three people in Harlem, including one fatally, is known to frequent an area of the Bronx, police shared in an update on Thursday, which was the first new piece of publicly released information in the case in three years.

Cops have been looking for Darlin Martinez without luck since April 2020, but announced Thursday for the first time that he "is known to frequent the confines of the 44th Precinct," which includes the Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

Martinez is wanted in connection to a shooting that happened in front of 606 W. 135th St. on January 23, 2020, police said. Officers arrived at the scene to find an unconscious Christopher Allen, 27, with multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body, police said.
