HARLEM, NY – Diddy was in Harlem on Sunday, according to a report in AllHipHop, after a post on Instagram showed him sitting on a stoop with G. Dep – or Trevell Coleman – a former Bad Boy Artist who was released from prison earlier in 2024.

Diddy, whose legal name is Sean Combs, was once a somewhat legendary figure in American entertainment and media of all kinds, known especially for his label Bad Boy Records, where he cultivated artists including hip hop legend the Notorious B.I.G.

That all changed following numerous allegations of sexual abuse, as well as the appearance of a video – obtained by CNN – in which Diddy assaults his then-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway.

Combs and Cassie, whose legal name is Cassandra Ventura, reached a confidential settlement on November 17, 2023, just one day after Ventura filed a lawsuit accusing Diddy of years of abuse.

In March 2024, officials searched Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami, as part of what authorities described as a sex-trafficking investigation.

On Sunday, Diddy reportedly put his $61 million Beverly Hills mansion up for sale.

Coleman – G. Dep – known largely for his 2001 album “Child of the Ghetto,” confessed to the 1993 murder of John Henkel during a robbery outside of the James Weldon Johnson Houses on 135th Street in East Harlem.

After admitting to the murder in 2010, Coleman served 13 years of a 15-to-life sentence before he was released from prison in April 2024, after being granted clemency by New York Gov. Kathy Hochul – a decision supported by both the prosecutor and sentencing judge on the case.
