SEE: BMW Driver Rams Kid On Harlem Sidewalk On Purpose, Cops Say

The driver hit the 8-year-old boy and his dad in Harlem, then got out of the car and slashed the man in the face, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A BMW driver mounted a Harlem sidewalk and rammed an 8-year-old boy and his dad, then leapt out of the car and slashed the man's face, police said.

The horrific crash was caught on video which shows the pedestrians being hit with such force they smash through a gate in front of an apartment building.

The pair were walking on West 112th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and St. Nicholas Avenue on Nov. 6 when they wre hit, police said.

After the attack, the driver jumps back into the car and a second man who was a passenger drive off.

The boy and his dad were treated for non-life threatening injuries at Harlem Hospital, an NYPD spokesman said.

Police said they believe the man was specifically targeted.
