East Harlem Fire Injures 1, FDNY Says
The fire broke out Thursday night in a six-story apartment building.

EAST HARLEM, NY — One person was hospitalized after a fire broke out in an apartment building in East Harlem, an FDNY spokesman said.
Firefighters responded to 100 East 118th Street, located on the corner of Park Avenue, shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday. Sixty firefighters battled a fire in the third floor of the six-story building for about 30 minutes before placing it under control, an FDNY spokesman said.
One civilian was injured during the fire and taken to St. Luke's hospital suffering minor injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The city fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire, an FDNY spokesman said.
