Fire In Harlem Apartment Building Leaves 5 People Hospitalized: FDNY
Five residents were hospitalized following Friday morning's fire in a Harlem apartment building, authorities said.

HARLEM, NY — A fire broke out Friday morning in a Harlem apartment building, sending five residents to the hospital, according to authorities.
The blaze began just after 9:30 a.m. inside 41 St. Nicholas Terrace, a six-story building on the corner of West 129th Street, an FDNY spokesperson said.
Five people, all civilians, were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital with unspecified injuries, the FDNY said.

Sixty firefighters managed to get the fire under control by around 10:30 a.m., authorities said.
The cause is under investigation.

Videos posted to the Citizen app appeared to show smoke billowing out of the building, with firetrucks lining the block.
