Firefighter Hospitalized In Harlem Apartment Fire Wednesday: FDNY
A civilian was also injured as a result of the morning apartment building fire, authorities said.

HARLEM, NY - A firefighter was hospitalized after battling a Harlem apartment fire Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The third floor blaze at 138 W 140 St. near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard was reported just before 10 a.m., fire officials told Patch.
12 units with 60 firefighters and medical personnel responded to the five-story apartment building, fire officials said.

An injured civilian refused medical attention at the scene. The injured firefighter was taken to Harlem Hospital at 11 a.m.; the extent of their injuries was not immediately made available.
The blaze was deemed under control about 10:24 a.m.
