Harlem Car Crash Kills 1, Driver In Custody, Officials Say
A woman has been arrested after crashing into a delivery truck and tree in Harlem, killing the passenger in her vehicle.

HARLEM, NY — A woman is in custody after an early-morning car crash that killed one person in Harlem, police and fire officials said.
The 33-year-old woman is accused of driving her car into the back of a double-parked delivery truck and then veering into a tree around 4:30 a.m. near the corner of West 129th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said.
A man who was riding in the car as a passenger was taken to Harlem Hospital and pronounced dead, an FDNY spokesman said. The driver was also taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition with facial injuries, the spokesman said.

The man who died was identified as 35-year-old Queens resident Angel Campana, police said.
Charges against the woman have not been filed, police said. The NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad is looking into the crash, police said.
