HARLEM, NY - Authorities are looking for four men who lifted lobby furniture from a new apartment building in Harlem Thursday night.

The quartet reportedly entered The Robeson at 407 Lenox Ave. near West 131st Street about 2:30 a.m. and took a white chair and black sofa, valued together at $700, police said.

Police were called to the scene about 10 a.m. after residents discovered the furniture was missing.

All four men were “covered,” from head to toe, including their faces, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Friday, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

The thieves reportedly had the key code to enter the building, CBS News reported. A 24-hour doorman was also not on duty at the time of the incident, according to the outlet.

The Robeson is a new mixed income affordable housing building consisting of 73 units. It only began leasing last year.
