Harlem Stabbing Leaves Man Dead; Suspect Arrested

A man was stabbed to death Monday night at an apartment on Central Park North, authorities said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was stabbed to death on Monday night in an apartment on Central Park North, police said.

Police found the 38-year-old man "with a stab wound to his upper chest" inside the apartment between Malcom X Boulevard and Fifth Avenue at around 6:50 p.m., the NYPD said.

He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

Tania Rodas, 37, was taken into custody at the scene, police said. Rodas, who lives at the apartment, was eventually arrested and charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

An investigation is ongoing. The dead man has not yet been identified.
