Harlem Thanksgiving Shooting Victim ID’d: NYPD

HARLEM, NY - The 48-year-old man who was found shot in Harlem Thanksgiving Day has been identified as his shooter remains at large, authorities said.

Daniel Straker, of Hull Avenue in the Bronx, was found with a gunshot wound to the back in front of 667 Macombs Place about 11:45 p.m., police said.

Medics rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem where he was later pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
